Crystal Growth

Problem Scenario

To take different amounts of sugar, salt and alum and see which amount of sugar grows the most/best
crystals.

Broad Question What is the affects of

Does the to water ratio make a difference. Does taking away the string
change the growth for crystals?

Specific Question

Does the amount of sugar, salt and alum added to the same sized jar change the amount of crystals made.
Does the string make it easier to grow sugar crystals?

Hypothesis

I think the more sugar, salt and alum you add, the better the crystallographers will grow. I think the crystals will also grow better on the string
then in the bottom, because they have something to attach to.
